Have you ever felt like you're a disabled person? I have been... A dictionary defines disabled as (a person) having a physical or mental condition that limits movements, senses, or activities. There were times na nagiging mahiyain ako, incompetent, or not performing at my best. These were all issues of Pride and its cousin which is Ego. Kapag wala si Lord sa buhay mo, minsan you will feel like a disabled person even if you have a complete set of body parts by medical standards. Proverbs 16:18 (GNT) - Pride leads to destruction, and arrogance to downfall. Nick Vujicic said it best that when you put the word GO in front of the word Disabled, it becomes GOD is Abled. GO! The word Go requires an action. It is our act towards faith and not towards inaction. Some species of sharks need to always move/swim because if they don't, they will die and so are our aspirations in life. Be like the shark or whatever animal it is that best represents you. Ika nga sa Tagalog - "Galaw-galaw baka mastroke!" Here's another thing: The enemy wants us to feel disabled so that we become useless for God's kingdom because they know na sobrang ganda ng plans ni Lord para sa atin. (John 10:10, Jeremiah 29:11) What we need to do is to let go of all our prideful actions and let God take control of our life as we submit to him so that He can make us Able-bodied persons once again for His purpose. _ Are you inspired by this story?
